Sims has been shining this year in the ABB Formula E Championship and will complete a very strong drivers’ lineup that will be joined by Francesco Guerra (ITA), Simone Riccitelli (ITA) and Nicola Neri (ITA) in the #215 BMW M4 GT4.
The weekend will get underway with three free practice sessions on Friday at local 11:25 and 15:00 and on Saturday at 9:00. The racing weekend will enjoy great media coverage on RAI Sport (CH 58 DTT) and MS Motor TV (CH 228 SKY). The Media Programmation will be made available by ACI Sport in the next few days.
Roberto Ravaglia (BMW Team Italia, Team Manager):
“The weekend in Vallelunga will be the turning point of the Endurance series and it will be important to score points with both cars. From a technical standpoint, this is perhaps the most complete circuit in the calendar. It includes some fast sectors, some more driven parts and there are some spots that can allow overtaking moves like the hairpin. It is quite a challenging circuit especially for the BMW M6 GT3, but I am certain our drivers will make the most of this round and shine again, not only in GT3, but also in the BMW M4 GT4”.
